Tailor-Made Suit
In the late nineteenth century, skirt suits became fashionable for walking, cycling, and other outdoor activities. By 1905, many women wore tailor-made suits on a daily basis due to their practicality.
Suffragists wore tailor-mades to public protests and parades along with sashes, pins, or ribbons embellished with pro-suffrage slogans.
