Description

Walking parasol with eight ribs and a hand-sewn, domed canopy of green silk velvet interlined with a cream-colored chiffon or mousseline de soie; channel ribs wrapped in chiffon; tortoise shell rib tips; brown wood stick with a carved bamboo design; rusted metal ferrule; egg-shaped handle is silver with pearl inlays and flower engraving around each pearl.

Engraving on the runner reads: "Dupuy, 8 Rue de la Paix, Paris"

Cartouche: one eagle's head; one diamond-shaped with initials "GP" with stem and handles 

Engraving: "3765" engraved on a band arouund the handle
